Virtually Comics: Character Development Game of Scones Comic

Lisa Powers' Exhibition Posters

Virtually Comics is the brainchild of David Tulloch.  With a history of writing, editing and producing comics, David returned recently to his former craft – but this time, he added a twist.  His latest works employ an intriguing and creative graphic component.  In the place of drawn graphics seen in the more traditional comics, David’s solution is to illustrate his writing with photographs of Playmobil toys. “Even those that are impractical to make into photo-comics” says David.

In the wake of those photos of toys, David has a number of artists drawing various scripts, and subsequently has placed additional Comic Book orders online with Blue Star Direct.

Virtually Comics chose these specifications for their comic books:

  • A5 24 page booklet - finished size 148 x 210mm
  • Portrait orientation
  • Printed full colour throughout on HP Indigo press
  • On 113gsm Sumo gloss
  • Saddle stitched
