Located in the heart of Fox Glacier Township, the Cook Saddle Cafe & Saloon is a favourite with locals and tourists alike. Historically a butcher shop and souvenir store, it has been renovated into the present-day unique Tex Mex style (with a west coast influence) restaurant and bar.
The walls are covered in local memorabilia along with black & white photos of people who played parts in creating this special part of the West Coast. Customers love to wander around looking at the antique replica, checking out the pictures and reading the captions – getting a real feel for the local history – a great way to unwind after a long drive or checking out the beautiful Fox Glacier.
Local designer Ruth Gordon from Movement Design, tasked with incorporating the rustic, historic look and feel into Cook Saddle’s new business card design, nailed the brief exactly. Being in a reasonably remote location proved no problem for the printing. Ruth ordered online through Blue Star Direct and had the cards a few days later.
Cook Saddle Café & Saloon chose these specifications for their business cards:
- Finished size: 55 x 90mm
- Printed CMYK both sides on Indigo Digital press
- On 400gsm uncoated Splendorgel
